Biography

winner of the “Kyiv Pectoral” prize (2016)

laureate of the A. F. Shekera prize (2018)

Graduated from the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts, majoring in “ballet master-choreographer, ballet artist” (2008). Qualification: Master of Choreography.

Since 2006 — soloist of the “Kyiv Modern Ballet” company.

With the “Kyiv Modern Ballet” company he toured France, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, Romania, China, South Korea, Thailand, Belarus, Moldova, Estonia and many cities of Ukraine.

As a choreographer he became a laureate of international competitions and festivals:

1st prize, “Choreographers”, at the 7th Serge Lifar International Ballet Competition, Ukraine, Donetsk, 2011;

1st prize at the 5th Sergei Diaghilev International Competition of Contemporary Choreography, Poland, Lodz, 2011;

2nd prize at the 25th International Competition of Contemporary Choreography “IFMC”, Belarus, Vitebsk, 2012.

In 2013 he was the movement director of the performances “Shevchenko’s Roads” and “The Clever Girl” by C. Orff at the children-and-youth theatre.

In 2015 he made his first full-length staging there — the ballet “The Doll. A New Story of Coppélia” to music by L. Delibes. For this he was awarded the “Kyiv Pectoral” in the “Debut” category.

Ballet master of performances at the children-and-youth theatre: the musicals “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” by Zh. and L. Kolodub (2015), “Once There Was a Dog…” by V. Nazarov (2017), “Santa’s Factory” by P. Tabakov (2018), the operas “Bastien and Bastienne” by W. A. Mozart, “Rita” by G. Donizetti, “Little Red Riding Hood” by R. Smolyar (all — 2016), “La Bohème” by G. Puccini (2017), “King Thrushbeard” by Y. Shevchenko (2018) and many concert programmes.

Choreographer of the 6th season of the STB project “So You Think You Can Dance” (2013).

At the Odesa National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre he created the first reading of the contemporary ballet “Destinies” to music by Y. Homelska (2017). For this staging he was awarded the A. F. Shekera prize in choreographic art (2018).

Since 2018 — assistant choreographer at “Kyiv Modern Ballet”.
