Kristofer Ponomarenko

Biography

Graduated from the Kyiv Choreographic College «Kyianochka» in 2023.

He earned his bachelor's degree in «contemporary choreography» from the Kyiv University of Culture and Arts in 2026.

«In contemporary ballet, I am inspired by exploring my body and its capabilities».

Has been a member of «Kyiv Modern-Ballet» since 2024.

«Working with Kyiv Modern-Ballet has introduced me to new friends and inspiring people».

«A turning point in my creative journey was deciding to end my career in ballroom dancing. After 13 years of practicing it, the decision was difficult, but I have no regrets. That choice opened up a new world of contemporary dance for me».

«My pre-show ritual is listening to my own choice of music and standing on stage for a few minutes to get accustomed to it and the atmosphere of the performance I am about to dance in».
