06.10.21 press conference: premiere of the ballet “The Queen of Spades” staged by Radu Poklitaru

On Wednesday, October 6, at 2:00 p.m. at UNIAN a press conference will be held on the topic: «The premiere of the ballet «The Queen of Spades» staged by Radu Poklitaru, chief choreographer of the Academic Theatre «Kyiv Modern Ballet»

The press conference will address the following issues:
• The relevance and innovativeness of the «The Queen of Spades» project: a reimagining of the world-famous literary work «The Queen of Spades» through the lens of the aesthetics of contemporary dance theatre, using the latest modern technologies; 
• New virtual objects in the ballet’s stage design: the creation of a continuum of «augmented reality» and «hybrid reality» combined with original choreography;
• A reimagining of the forms of historical costume, taking into account the principal trends in fashion and the particular features of the contemporary choreographic theatre. 
The production is being realized with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation and the Department of Culture of the Kyiv City State Administration.
