Yelyzaveta Driunina

Biography

She graduated from the Dnipropetrovsk Vocational College of Culture and Arts in 2022.
She graduated from the private higher education institution «Kyiv University of Culture» in 2026.

Since 2024, has been working at «Kyiv Modern-Ballet».

«Contemporary dance is the art of movement that combines various styles and the language of the human body, reflecting freedom of movement, a blend of feelings and thoughts, and a person’s interaction with space. For me, what’s important in contemporary dance is the sensation of free movement, the lightness of the body, and the ability to control it—to tense and relax at the right moments as needed».

«I don’t know if you can exactly call it a ritual, but before a performance, I always tell myself, ‘Everything will be fine, everything will work out—just do what you know how to do,’ and then I go out and dance».

Tours:
May 30, 2026 – participation in the 14th International Biennial Festival of Performing Arts VITEI-2026 (Moldova).
