Kyiv Modern Ballet performances for the holidays
We invite you to spend the winter holidays with the “Kyiv Modern Ballet” theatre. We have prepared a selection of performances worth attending with children, to share with them the experience of contemporary dance theatre and create shared family memories.
“The Little Prince”, a ballet in two acts
A ballet based on the well-known story of the Little Prince, set to the music of W. A. Mozart and Ukrainian lullabies. The video projection captivates children’s attention, while the vivid costumes make you want to examine them down to the smallest detail. This is a story that takes you back to childhood and reminds you how important it is, amid everyday affairs, not to lose the ability to remember what matters most: family values, care, and love for one’s neighbour.
The ballet “The Little Prince” is suitable for children aged 6 and over (6+).

“A Minute Before Christmas”, a ballet-journey in one act
“A Minute Before Christmas” is an invitation to immerse yourself in the magical atmosphere of the holiday, where reality and fantasy interweave into an expressive choreographic story. This ballet-journey, set to the music of Camille Saint-Saëns and “Carol of the Bells”, gives special moments filled with joy and inspiration.
The performance is recommended for viewing with children aged 3 and over (3+).
