Competition announced for vacant ballet artist positions on September 29
The municipal institution «Theatrical and Entertainment Cultural Institution «Academic Theatre «Kyiv Modern Ballet», in accordance with the Procedure for the competitive formation of the creative and artistic personnel of state and municipal cultural institutions, approved by Order of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine No. 497 of 01.07.2016
ANNOUNCES A COMPETITION!
To fill the positions of ballet dancers, namely:
- Top-Category Ballet Dancer – 2 staff positions
- Category II Ballet Dancer – 1 staff position
The competition will be held on 29 September 2023 at 17:00.
Qualification requirements for applicants:
Top-Category Ballet Dancer – complete higher education in the relevant field of study (master’s, specialist) and advanced professional training. Work experience in the profession of Category I ballet (theatre) dancer of no less than 3 years.
High professional mastery; striking musical, choreographic and stage abilities; broad recognition by audiences and the public; performance of leading and principal roles in ballets, as well as major ballet roles in opera productions and demanding solo dance numbers and roles in operettas and musical comedies.
Category II Ballet Dancer - complete or basic higher education in the relevant field of study (specialist, bachelor, junior specialist) with no work-experience requirements.
A level of performing mastery as established by the educational institution; good choreographic, musical and stage abilities, professional training; performance, in individual cases, of roles and uncomplicated solo numbers.
Competition programme:
A classical dance class and, additionally, performance of an excerpt from the theatre’s repertoire.

- a copy of an identity document (you need to make copies of the documents in pdf format);
- a copy of the employment record book (if work experience is available);
- a copy of the education document in the relevant specialty (you need to make copies of the documents in pdf format)
