Competition announced for vacant ballet artist positions, August 18, 2023
The municipal institution «Theatrical and Performing Cultural Institution «Academic Theatre «Kyiv Modern Ballet», in accordance with the Procedure for the competitive formation of the staff of artistic and performing personnel of state and municipal cultural institutions, approved by Order of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine of 01.07.2016 No. 497
ANNOUNCES A COMPETITION!
To fill the positions of ballet artists, namely:
Leading Master of the Stage Artist – 1 staff position;
Ballet Artist of the Highest Category – 1 staff position;
Ballet Artist of the 1st Category – 2 staff positions
The competition will take place on 18 August 2023 at 5:00 p.m.
Qualification requirements for applicants:
Leading Master of the Stage Artist - complete higher education in the relevant field of training (master’s degree, specialist) and professional development. Work experience in the profession of ballet (theatre) artist of the highest category of no less than 1 year.
Honorary titles; outstanding choreographic and musical abilities; impeccable professional mastery; a vivid creative individuality; broad recognition by audiences in Ukraine and beyond its borders
Ballet Artist of the Highest Category – complete higher education in the relevant field of training (master’s degree, specialist) and professional development. Work experience in the profession of ballet (theatre) artist of the 1st category of no less than 3 years.
High professional mastery; vivid musical, choreographic and stage abilities; broad recognition by audiences and the public; performance of leading and principal parts in ballets, as well as major ballet parts in opera productions and demanding solo dance numbers and parts in operettas and musical comedies.
Ballet Artist of the 1st Category – complete or basic higher education in the relevant field of training (master’s degree, specialist or bachelor’s degree) and professional development; for a master’s degree - no work-experience requirement, for a specialist - work experience in the profession of ballet (theatre) artist of the 2nd category of no less than 2 years, for a bachelor’s degree - no less than 3 years.
Professional mastery, vivid musical, choreographic and stage abilities; performance of first and second parts in ballets, technically demanding numbers in productions of all genres.
Programme of the competition:
A classical dance lesson and, additionally, the performance of an excerpt from the theatre’s repertoire.
