Competition announced for vacant positions on September 7
The Municipal Establishment «Theatrical and Performing Cultural Establishment «Academic Theatre «Kyiv Modern Ballet»
in accordance with the Procedure for forming, on a competitive basis, the personnel of the creative and artistic staff of state and municipal cultural institutions, approved by Order of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine No. 497 of 01.07.2016
ANNOUNCES A COMPETITION!
To fill the positions of ballet artists, namely:
Ballet artist, category 1 – 1 staff position
Ballet artist, category 2 – 1 staff position
The competition will take place on 07 September 2023 at 17:00.
Qualification requirements for applicants:
Ballet artist, category I: complete or basic higher education in the relevant field of study (master’s, specialist or bachelor’s degree) and professional development; for a master’s degree holder - no work experience requirements; for a specialist - at least 2 years of work experience in the profession of ballet artist (theatre) of category II; for a bachelor - at least 3 years.
Professional mastery, outstanding musical, choreographic and stage abilities; performance of leading and secondary roles in ballets, of technically demanding numbers in performances of all genres.
Ballet artist, category II: complete or basic higher education in the relevant field of study (specialist, bachelor, junior specialist) with no work experience requirements.
A level of performing mastery established by the educational institution; good choreographic, musical and stage abilities, professional training; performance, in individual cases, of roles and simple solo numbers.
Competition programme:
A classical dance class and, additionally, the performance of an excerpt from the theatre’s repertoire.

- a personnel record sheet with a 3x4 cm photograph pasted in (you need to download and fill in the personnel record sheet; the form is available at the link: HERE)
- a copy of an identity document (you need to make copies of the documents in pdf format);
- a copy of the employment record book (if there is work experience);
- a copy of the document on education in the relevant specialty (you need to make copies of the documents in pdf format)
