Competition announced for ballet artist positions. The competition will be held on February 1, 2024

The municipal institution “Theatrical and Performing Cultural Institution ‘Academic Theatre “Kyiv Modern Ballet”’”, in accordance with the Procedure for the Competitive Formation of the Staff of the Creative and Artistic Personnel of State and Municipal Cultural Institutions, approved by Order No. 497 of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine dated 01 July 2016, 

 

ANNOUNCES A COMPETITION!

To fill positions of ballet artists, namely:

 

Ballet Artist of the 1st Category  — 1 staff position

 

 

Qualification requirements for applicants:

Ballet Artist of the 1st Category. Complete or basic higher education in the relevant field of study (master’s, specialist or bachelor’s degree) and professional development; for a master’s degree — no work experience requirements; for a specialist — work experience in the profession of ballet (theatre) artist of the 2nd category of at least 2 years; for a bachelor’s degree — at least 3 years.

Professional skill, outstanding musical, choreographic and stage abilities; performance of leading and secondary parts in ballets, and of technically demanding numbers in productions of all genres.

 

Competition programme:

A classical dance class and, additionally, the performance of an excerpt from the theatre’s repertoire.
