A competition has been announced to fill the positions of ballet dancers. The competition will take place on September 15, 2025.
The municipal institution «Theatrical and Entertainment Cultural Institution «Academic Theatre «Kyiv Modern-Ballet», in accordance with the Procedure for Forming, on a Competitive Basis, the Staff of Creative and Artistic Personnel of State and Municipal Cultural Institutions, approved by Order of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine No. 497 dated 01.07.2016
ANNOUNCES A COMPETITION!
To fill ballet-dancer positions, namely:
- Ballet dancer, Category I – 1 full-time position;
- Ballet dancer, Category II – 0.5 full-time position;
- Ballet dancer, Category II – 0.5 full-time position.
The competition will take place on 15 September 2025 at 17:00.
Qualification requirements for applicants:
- Ballet dancer, Category I: complete or basic higher education in the relevant field of study (master, specialist or bachelor) and advanced professional training; for a master — with no work-experience requirements; for a specialist — work experience in the profession of ballet (theatre) dancer, Category II, of at least 2 years; for a bachelor — at least 3 years.
Professional mastery, vivid musical, choreographic and stage abilities; performance of leading and secondary roles in ballets, of technically complex numbers in performances of all genres.
- Ballet dancer, Category II: complete or basic higher education in the relevant field of study (specialist, bachelor, junior specialist) with no work-experience requirements.
A level of performing skill as established by the educational institution; good choreographic, musical and stage abilities, professional training; performance, in individual cases, of roles and simple solo numbers.
Competition programme:
A classical dance class and, additionally, performance of an excerpt from the theatre’s repertoire.
