Competition for vacant ballet artist positions
The municipal institution “Theatrical and Performing Cultural Institution ‘Academic Theatre Kyiv Modern Ballet’”, in accordance with the Procedure for the Competitive Formation of the Personnel Composition of the Creative and Artistic Staff of State and Municipal Cultural Institutions, approved by Order of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine of 01.07.2016 No. 497, ANNOUNCES A COMPETITION!
To fill ballet dancer positions, namely:
- Artist — Leading Master of the Stage — 1 staff unit;
- Ballet dancer, Category II — 1 staff unit.
The competition will take place on 15 December 2022 at 12:30.
Qualification requirements for candidates:
Artist — Leading Master of the Stage — complete higher education in the relevant field of training (master, specialist) and professional development. Length of service in the profession of ballet dancer (theatre) of the highest category of at least 1 year.
Honorary titles; outstanding choreographic and musical abilities; impeccable professional skill; vivid creative individuality; broad recognition by audiences in Ukraine and beyond.
Ballet dancer, Category II — complete or basic higher education in the relevant field of training (specialist, bachelor, junior specialist) with no length-of-service requirements.
A level of performing skill as established by the educational institution; good choreographic, musical and stage abilities, professional training; performance, in certain cases, of roles and simple solo numbers.
Competition programme:
A classical dance class and, additionally, performance of an excerpt from the theatre’s repertoire.

- a copy of the employment record book (if there is any length of service);
- a copy of the educational qualification document in the relevant specialty (you must make copies of the documents in PDF format)
