Competition announced for vacant ballet artist positions on May 3
The Municipal Establishment «Theatrical and Entertainment Cultural Establishment «Academic Theatre «Kyiv Modern-Ballet», in accordance with the Procedure for the Competitive Formation of the Creative and Artistic Personnel of State and Municipal Cultural Establishments, approved by Order of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine No. 497 of 01.07.2016
ANNOUNCES A COMPETITION!
To fill positions of ballet artists, namely:
- Ballet artist of the highest category – 1 staff unit;
- Ballet artist of Category 2 – 0.5 staff unit;
- Ballet artist of Category 2 – 0.5 staff unit;
The competition will take place on 03 May 2023 at 17:00.
Qualification requirements for applicants:
Ballet artist of the highest category – complete higher education in the relevant field of study (master’s, specialist) and professional development. At least 3 years of work experience as a Category I ballet (theatre) artist.
High professional skill; outstanding musical, choreographic and stage abilities; broad recognition from audiences and the public; performance of leading and principal roles in ballets, as well as major ballet roles in opera productions and demanding solo dance numbers and roles in operettas and musical comedies.
Ballet artist of Category II - complete or basic higher education in the relevant field of study (specialist, bachelor, junior specialist) with no work experience requirements.
A level of performing skill established by an educational institution; good choreographic, musical and stage abilities, professional training; performance, in certain cases, of roles and simple solo numbers.
Competition programme:
A classical dance class and, in addition, the performance of a fragment from the theatre’s repertoire.

- a personal HR record sheet with a 3x4 cm photograph glued in (you need to download and fill in the personal record sheet, the template is available at the link: HERE)
- a copy of an identity document (you need to make copies of the documents in PDF format);
- a copy of the employment record book (if you have work experience);
- a copy of the document certifying education in the relevant specialty (you need to make copies of the documents in PDF format)
