Competition announced for ballet artist positions. The competition will be held on September 19, 2024
The Municipal Establishment “Theatrical and Performance Cultural Institution “Academic Theatre “Kyiv Modern Ballet,” in accordance with the Procedure for the Competitive Formation of the Personnel Roster of the Artistic and Performing Staff of State and Municipal Cultural Institutions, approved by Order of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine No. 497 of 01.07.2016
ANNOUNCES A COMPETITION!
To fill the positions of ballet dancers, namely:
Ballet Dancer, Category I — 1 staff unit
Ballet Dancer, Category II — 3 staff units
Ballet Dancer, Category II — 0.5 staff unit
Ballet Dancer, Category II — 0.5 staff unit
The competition will take place on 19 September 2024 at 5:00 p.m.
Qualification requirements for applicants:
Ballet Dancer, Category I: complete or basic higher education in the relevant field of training (master’s, specialist or bachelor’s degree) and professional development; for a master’s degree — no work-experience requirements, for a specialist — at least 2 years of work experience in the profession of ballet (theatre) dancer of Category II, for a bachelor’s — at least 3 years.
Professional mastery, vivid musical, choreographic and stage abilities; performance of leading and secondary parts in ballets, and of technically complex numbers in performances of all genres.
Ballet Dancer, Category II: complete or basic higher education in the relevant field of training (specialist, bachelor, junior specialist) with no work-experience requirements.
A level of performing mastery established by the educational institution; good choreographic, musical and stage abilities, professional training; performance, in individual cases, of parts and uncomplicated solo numbers.
Competition programme:
A classical dance lesson and, additionally, the performance of a fragment from the theatre’s repertoire.

- a copy of the document on education in the relevant speciality (you must make copies of the documents in PDF format)
