Biography
laureate of international competitions
Graduated from Lesya Ukrainka East European National University (Lutsk), majoring in “ballet master-choreographer, ballet artist” (2015).
In 2010–2011 — soloist of Valery Mikhailovsky’s St. Petersburg Male Ballet.
2012 — finalist of the STB project “So You Think You Can Dance — 5”.
2013 — founder and artistic director of the “Young Ballet of Volyn”.
Since 2013 — leading soloist of the “Kyiv Modern Ballet” company.
In 2015 — debuted as a choreographer with the one-act ballet “Closer Than Love” to music by Baroque composers.
In 2016 — choreographer of the one-act ballet “Running Through Life” to music by J. S. Bach, W. Mertens, M. Richter.
In 2016 — nominee for the “Kyiv Pectoral — 2016” award “For the best movement design” of the performance “Running Through Life”.
In 2015–2016 he refined his craft abroad — completed a Summer Intensive in Zurich (Switzerland) and a Summer Intensive at Europe’s leading contemporary dance theatre, Nederlands Dans Theater, in The Hague (Netherlands).
At the Lviv National Opera and Ballet Theatre named after S. Krushelnytska, in 2016 he staged the ballet “Closer Than Love” to Baroque music, and in 2017 became the choreographer of the folk-opera-ballet “When the Fern Blooms” by Y. Stankovych.
At the same time, since 2018 — ballet soloist of the Kyiv Municipal Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre for Children and Youth.
In April 2018, at that theatre, he staged the ballet “Stories in Tango Style” to music by A. Piazzolla and other composers.
In March 2019, at the same theatre, he staged the ballet “The Legend of Eternal Love” to music by Franz Schubert arranged by V. Samofalov.
In March 2019 — at the “Kyiv Modern Ballet” theatre he staged the one-act ballet “The Inseparables” to music by G. Mahler and G. Puccini.

Belgium, Spain, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Romania, Belarus, Moldova and cities of Ukraine.

2011 — 1st prize, “Best solo”. International contemporary dance competition “ID Franking competition — European Cup”, Yalta.
2012 — 1st prize, “contemporary dance solo”, special prize “For the best dramaturgy in a number” and the named prize of jury chairman Serhii Bondur. 2nd International Competition of Classical and Contemporary Choreography “MYSL-POTOK”.
2013 — 2nd prize, “choreographers”. 3rd International Competition “MYSL-POTOK”.
2014 — finalist of the International Festival of Contemporary Choreography “IFMC”, Vitebsk, Belarus.
2016 — 1st prize, “choreographers”, and the named prize of Denis Matvienko. 6th International Competition “MYSL-POTOK”, Kyiv.
2016 — Grand Prix. 2nd International Competition of Young Choreographers “Ballet Fest”, Lviv.
2017 — 1st prize, “contemporary dance (duet)”, and 3rd prize, “classical dance”. “International Ballet and Contemporary Dance Competition Domenico Modugno”, Lecce, Italy.
2018 — Grand Prix. International Contest of Young Choreographers “Dance Generation”.
2018 — diploma winner, 3rd International Ballet Artists Competition, Tallinn, Estonia.
2018 — 3rd prize. International contemporary choreography competition at the 31st “IFMC” festival, Vitebsk, Belarus.
