Biography
Graduated from the T. H. Shevchenko Republican Art School in Kyiv (studio of O. H. Tytova — 1980) and the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture (studio of T. A. Lyashchuk and V. Ya. Chebanyk — 1989).
Since 1986 — participant of many national and international art exhibitions in Ukraine, Poland, Germany, Slovakia, France and others. He has held about 10 solo exhibitions.
In 1989–1995 — lecturer in graphics at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture.
1995–1997 — production designer of the Kyiv State Academic Theatre of Drama and Comedy on the Left Bank of the Dnipro.
Since 1990 — member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
In 2000–2010 — chief artist of the “Free Stage” theatre, Kyiv.
Since 2011 — lecturer at the M. Boychuk Kyiv State Institute of Decorative and Applied Arts and Design.
One of the most creative scenographers of contemporary theatre, whose stage solutions are an integral part of the success of the performances.
Production designer of more than 20 performances in theatres of Ukraine (Kyiv, Cherkasy, Odesa) and Poland (Warsaw).
Author of the scenography for the triptych-ballet “Crossroads” to music by M. Skoryk — a contemporary project of “Kyiv Modern Ballet” and the National Opera of Ukraine named after T. H. Shevchenko, 2012.
The ballet was awarded the “Kyiv Pectoral” prize in the “Best musical performance of 2012” category.
